But I've got an old restored/modified 16-foot Checkmate hot rod with a 82 Merc 250 V6 Black Max that's been bored, ported and polished. They dont want to fix anything ,just sell you a new one. They hemmed and hawed when I asked them direcly if they had The Polaris DIGITAL WRENCH.I think that they had it but didnt know how to use it.BOTTEM LINE I SOLD AT A BIG LOSS.I THINK POLARIS IS THE MOST ANTI CUSTOMER COMPANY IN THE BUSINESS. They said they didnt work on any thing this old.I took it to an out state Polaris dealer, They had it for a month ,changed the plugs and charged a reasonable $50. ![]() I took it to the biggest Polaris dealer in St louis. spark plugs ,compression and on and on.A SIMPLE OBD 2 PORT WOULD HAVE SOLVED MY PROBLEM. I have been wrenching and rebuilding my own scooters, motorcycles,cars trucks,CNC MACHINE TOOLS FOR 65 YEARS.I followed all the usual suggestions and tests. I had a near perfect 2005 Sportsman 700 with about 30 hours run time ,original Dunlop tires,ect.It ran perfact then would intermittently back fire and miss and then run good and repeat. ![]()
